Logos

The feels & spiels logo was created in the Document Design Class. As you have seen, I use this logo for my website as well for an Instagram page that has sadly been neglected.

The purpose of the website is twofold. It serves as a safe place for difficult conversations, which is why I chose to use warm colors to boost mood and incorporate the image of a sofa to represent comfort. The image is placed inside a text bubble to represent conversation.

The Momma Lyndas logo was created in to represent my nonprofit organization, Momma Lynda's Formal Emporium & Vintage Market. I have used this logo for social media pages, vendor applications, and as a sign for my pop-up shop. It does not transfer well to a t-shirt.

The mission of my nonprofit is to provide formal attire free of charge to those who could not otherwise access it. The vintage market is used to help support the clothing closet. I chose to use gold as the background color to symbolize wealth and success because these should be within reach for anyone. The sparkles signify walkig in the forward direction to the future, and I used a splash of pink to incorporate my own personality into the logo.

The Faulkner County Democrats logo was submitted in response to the Faulkner County Democrats' call for new logo submissions. They did not previously have a logo to use on their social media pages and include with press releases, so a number of members created logos for the board to choose form. Mine was not selected.

I chose blue and red to represent the colors associated with the political parties. Red is also incorporated on a white background to symbolize the colors of the United States flag. The donkey represents the Democrat mascot and is positioned with hind legs up to symbolize a defensive position. The stars represent the towns inside Faulker County, and the donkey extends to the edges of the circle to prevent the circle from closing. This represents open-mindedness within the party.
